Good Ol' Taxachusetts!

Experts say smoking one marijuana cigarette is equivalent to smoking ten tobacco cigarettes yet Massachusetts residents voted to decriminalize it. But the same voters voted to ban greyhound racing in Massachusetts for health reasons?!?! It's going to take an awful lot of $100 citations to make up the revenue from greyhound racing but I guess that is why voters chose to keep the income tax of 5.3% with the assumption that it will be raised in the near future. Do Massachusetts residents realize that their home state is know nationwide as Taxachusetts? What's next, a costly license to carry marijuana in your pocket? How about Massachusetts just makes all minor infractions a fee rather than jail time unless you have a license of course. "Yes I ran the stop sign officer but I have a license to do so." Or how about "Yes I took the pack of gum without paying for it but I have a license." Either tax it or make it licensable. Greta job Governor Patrick. Hip Hip Hooray for Kerry and Kennedy!

President Obama

It's like a college exam trick question.
Question: Of the following who was not elected as President of the United States?
A. Bill Jefferson Clinton
B. George Walker Bush
C. David Michael Smith
D. Barack Hussein Obama

I would bet that 100 years from now, maybe 50 years from now, 99.999% of college students would pick D. Barack Hussein Obama.

The name might not fit the job title, President of the United States of America, but the fundementals of the man do. I'm as speachless as a rock at the botom of the ocean, only 30 minutes after the announcement scrolled across the bottom of my TV screen on CNN - "Barack Obama elected President."As out of reach as it seemed to me yesterday, the hope of a black man elected president, today I am holding it in my hand celebrating. I supported Hillary Clinton from day one of Bill Clinton's win over Bush in 1992. Rather than boycotting Obama when he beat Hillary in the primary election I dedicated my support to him, maybe for Hillary, but most importantly for the democratic party.

I see drastic improvement in America's future now that the Bush administration is done destroying America. I believe that Barack views all americans equally and will do the best that he can to improve our lives in this country as he improved his own from the day he decided to become a public servant over a six figure job at a law firm.

My message to all Americans: Go spend money in support of a better economy, a safer place to live and with the hope of more job security and availability for each and every American that Barack Obama now works for.

On the 3rd day he said "Let there be Clintons!"

Let there be Clintons! Politically they do no wrong so why drag their personal imperfections to the surface? Bill Clinton ranks #1 on my list of presidents during my lifetime, 35 years. He stategically placed each and every one of his "White House gang members" to solidify his success as president of the United States. The economy skyrocketed from nothing in 1992 to Ba-Da-WOW by early 1993 and amazing by 1999. Then, along came a spider named George W. Bush and here we are in 2008 lending Wall Street Bazillionaires 700 Billion Dollars. The american dream of Hillary running the White House gave false hope to those of us that truly believed in her. I assumed that more hard working Americans thought like I do but I guess my own moto snipped me in the butt - "Assumption is the road to a hypothetical life." Don't get me wrong, I believe that Obama will make a great leader someday, just not today. As the financial fires spread through this country we do not need a president looking to cut state and federal jobs. We need a Clinton - someone that would evaluate the state and federal jobs and make them worth the taxpayers money to keep them employed. A Clinton would not give 700 Billion to Wall Street before evaluating Main Street. If Obama is elected president I hope that he puts Bill, Hillary and Chelsea in positions where they will benefit the country not just his popularity.
To sum up my ranting and raving about the Clinton family I'd like to say thank you to them for everything they have done to better my life, my family's life and this country. Bill is an outstanding man and every young boy in this country should model themself after him. Hillary is the strongest woman alive, mentally and politically. And Chelsea - well, only the future will tell but I would put every last dollar of mine into supporting each and every cause that she supports. Her DNA speaks for itself.
